Heavenly Salespeople

So you want to sell your property? We suggest you make use of the wonderful arsenal of heavenly salespeople God has provided for us. There is a wealth of heavenly help available to all just waiting to be called upon to help us in all our needs…and that also goes for selling or buying property.

Using the intercessory powers of the Saints and Angels is no different than what we all do nearly everyday in one manner or other. We ask others to intercede for us when we want something. Depending on whom we ask depends on what we want. We ask someone whom we feel has more influence or are more skillful than we are, and consequently more apt to get what we want. Here are a few examples:

• A teenager asks his mother to ask his dad for money.
• A person on trial hires a lawyer to plead his case before a judge.
• A friend asks his friends to pray for some urgent need.

The historic Christian practice of asking the saints for their intercession is shared by over three quarters of the Christians on earth. Saints are simply those departed bothers and sisters in Christ who are now in heaven. Having gone through the trials and tribulations of earth and remaining steadfast in their faith, they have proven their love for Jesus and followed His Will. Jesus, the One and Only Mediator between God and men, because He is both God and man, is more inclined to answer the requests of these close heavenly friends of His than us earthly mortals who are still sinning daily.

And just as on earth different people have different charismas, so too the saints. It is advisable under different circumstances of life to invoke certain saints. We invoke St. Joseph as the patron of a happy death, because he expired in the arms of Jesus and Mary; also we call on his aid to help us buy and sell houses because he was responsible for finding a home for Jesus and Mary. When something is lost, we have recourse to St. Anthony, through whose prayers the thief, who had stolen from him a valuable manuscript, had no peace until he restored it. Loved ones in heaven are most anxious to help family members and friends still earthbound with their everyday problems.

So, make use of the wonderful intercessory power of the angels and saints. Call upon them to help you sell, buy, or rent your home, business, or property. Remember, “When the going gets tough, the tough get praying”.
